Jon was born and raised in Holland, Michigan and is a graduate of the University of Michigan. Prior to moving to New Mexico, he was married and began employment with the Michigan Department of Transportation. It wasn’t long, though, before his wife convinced him to consider a move to the Southwest where the number of sunny days outnumbered the cloudy ones. In 1992, Jon accepted a position in the Traffic Engineering Division of the City of Santa Fe.
Since then, he has worked as Transportation Planner for the Santa Fe Metropolitan Planning Organization, Service Development Director for Santa Fe Trails, and most recently as the Director of the Transit Division – Santa Fe Trails at the City of Santa Fe. |

| Joe has been employed at Zia Therapy Center since Aug of 2002 and has been Transportation Director since Jan of 2004. Since he became director, Zia has seen a lot growth in its transportation division. The public transportation portion has increased from 20,000 riders annually to over 80,000 riders annually. Ztrans has also been NMDOT transportation provider of the year twice and received national recognition by receiving the FTA Transit Administrators Award for 2008, from Washington D.C. Joe has been married to his beautiful wife Carel for 26 years and has two sons, Joseph and Shane, currently at NMSU in Las Cruces. Joe retired from the Air Force in 1991. |

| Mary Lou has been employed by the City of Clovis for the past 17 1/2 years. She is the Director of the Clovis Area Transit System (c.a.t.s.). Prior to this, she worked for 10 years for the Eastern Plains Council of Governments. During her tenure The city’s transit system has grown, from providing 20,000 trips to 65,000 trips annually. The city promoted her to Department Head in October 1997 and she received her Community Transit Manager’s Certificate in August 1998. In addition to the office of secretary, she has also served as president and vice president of thenmpta board. Finally, she has been married for 32 wonderful years to Dwayne kemp and has two beautiful children.Kurtis and Jessica, and is the proud grandmother of 2 beautiful little girls, Sierah and Adrina. |

| Gary is currently employed at TRESCO, Inc., in Las Cruces, as their Safety/Facility Coordinator, with the primary responsibilities of transportation and facility services. He was the president of NMPTA from August 1998 until April 2004, and has been an active member since 1995. He is also a certified National Safety Council trainer. In addition, he is on the Board of Directors for the Southwest Transit Association., and is serving on the Las Cruces Transit Advisory board. He has participated in Youth Soccer as a Coach and Referee for the past 10 years. He enjoys outdoor sports and gardening as well. |

Fred was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan and attended Michigan State University, College of Engineering. He has 30+ years in the Transportation Industry. He has been with All Aboard America Santa Fe Division in the capacity of General Manager for over 5 years.
As General Manager/Program Manager, he is responsible to directly oversee and manage the facilities in the State of New Mexico. He is the Program Manager for the State of New Mexico Park and Ride program, the Program Manager for the Rio Metro Sandoval County Easy Express in which he answers directly to the State of New Mexico and MRCOG.
He is the Drug and Alcohol Program Manager and the designated Employee Representative for the Federal Transportation Administration Drug and Alcohol program.
Currently, Fred is on the board as Business Director for NMPTA.
Married to his beautiful wife Carla for 25 years and have two daughters and 5 grandchildren. |
